Story:

Pretty sure bungie said there were 7 chests in the vault of glass.

I live next door to a game tester and creator that helped create the vog an i just talked to him today. (He is a busy guy n i never approached him before in my life of knowing him) I asked him if he knew about a chest that hasn't been found yet. He said there is a chest that is completely hard to find with out accidentally spotting the hole in the wall. He didn't tell me exactly where! BUMMER!! I know.... He said it is down the side of a wall were you can land on a small brick sticking out and crouch through a tunnel that leads to it.

I know it doesn't explain a lot but i haven't had to crouch through a tunnel to open a chest yet to this day in vog so i believe him.

I do not think he is talking about the tunnel under the fist chest after opening the vault of glass. Reason is because it doesnt lead to a chest. I know that the area has been searched pretty well by myself and all the others that want to find it!

Please like to people can see this an make people pay more attention to to walls throughout the vault.

What if.. As you acquire and open the chests, those red lights turn green? Once all lights turn green it activates the gate that's right next to the map? Once through the gate it leads to another chest or area? Thoughts?

OK guys, hear me out. after defeating atheon the team can just sit there forever if they like. What if the reason you have that time is so you can find a way back out of the vault and go to the far pillar where that old warp gate was! I've seen a strange looking entrance at the top of the atheon room, get there and find out whats up!

Update? I know it's late but still been thinking about the last chest since they said in the The Taken King Documentary, he said they like to see people talking about destiny in groups like the last chest in VOG chats. Idk still would like an update please.

im calling coincidence, it isnt very consistant with the whole vault. if possible, you might want to keep an extra person outside to see if the lights change when the chests get opened, who knows it might show something?

Not true bro but nice try bungie already said nobody had found all the chest. Where are the little red lights for those chests? The first gorgon chest is closer to chest you get by knocking the temper off than it is to the second gorgon chest. That's not what the map says. You might be on to something but this just seems to far fetched

I think I have a theory on the 6th/7th chest. After you beat Aetheon, the outer gate is open to go back to the jumping area with the disappearing platforms. What if you go back to those disappearing platforms and check the area all the way to the bottom where there looks to be a warp gate... Meaning you have to jump on the disappearing platforms all the way to the left and see if a chest spawns. I've never tried it before.

guys I know this is crazy but maybe the 6th chest is in the area where atheon teleport's you to this area to get the relic and destroy the orbs, I mean it's a good idea if you think about it. plus it should explain why no has really found it since time is ticking and you ain't got time to just chill. [Just a theory.]

I have also seen such "wall maps" inside the vault. Two of them at Atheon/Gatekeeper area. When you enter the area through the big door move to your left. Just follow the wall to your left and you will see the first. When you keep on going past the vex spawn cave there is another one.

Someone look on the lower level just along the wall that circles the nexus on Venus ... several map looking spots including one that has three blue lights at the top then lines leading down that have various other blue lights. Map maybe but I don't know enough about the vault

There is an area right behind were aetheon spawns were there is some light shining but I think you would need a blade dancer and a the tumbler and do that glitch were you can fly across the hell mouth with the sparrow+bladedancer

looks right, but i have seen a pic of the 6th chest, wich all of us (i think) it COULD be... it would have had sense to be on this wall...
