Thanks for making this video. I was utterly stunned with this. The sounds, how the machine reacts and how it looks when bootting a real man's OS. Brought me right back to my late teens. Thanks.

Call me strange, but I miss the squeak of the old '80s hard drives and the "clunk" of the power switch.

My first computer was an IBM PS/2 Model 30. I spent countless hours reading the DOS 3.1 manual, learning to be a computer nerd. :)

Hello I am looking to start a computer ps/2 8580. I replaced the power supply and change somme electronic part In floppy disk drive. When I start it I have two error message. One for batterie hs so I change it and a another about config need to be done with a floppy disk configuration. I download some image floppy but the computer don't want to boot on it. I suppose that floppy drive is not totally repaired. The computer contain data that I must download to a virtual dos vm and I need to restart this computer one time in good working condition to recover data from the same model that we have in production. This computer was OK last month . I need to find a solution to start this computer, can you help me to give me some help? Thanks for your feedback.
