A few additional notes:

1) Later Model 60, 65SX and 80 cases did away with the rear swivel foot, with just two cast-in ~2-3" feet at either side of the rear of the case, with just the front swivel foot to provide stablility.
2) The original full-height (FH) 5.25" ST (44MB) or ESDI (70MB, 115MB and 314MB) interface Hard Drives were what the main "drive cage" was originally designed to accomodate. IBM later came out with a "single full-height or dual half-height 3.5 inch" mounting cage that would sit in place of an FH 5.25" HD and be secured by the Big Blue knurled knob screws' clamp activation.
3) The Floppy Drive Controller (FDC) sits just below the PSU's fan outlet and is renowned for collection of a dust buildup. Cleaning away this potentially short-circuit causing buildup is one of the first, essential cleaning tasks upon receiving a system unit for resuscitation.

One issue if the drive cage is removed from a complete unit is that the two access panel screws fasten to it to hold the cover on.

Of note is that the Kingston Datacard/32 (KTM-DC32) is based upon their KTM-MC64 (a.k.a. KTM-PS64) 32-bit Memory Expansion adapter, which can support up to 64MB with the appropriate SIMMs, but with the addition of the IDE interface and 2.5" Seagate Marathon Series (ST9xxx) hard drive (of less than 520MB capacity? PC-DOS FDISK claimed an 11MB drive capacity for my 540MB drive test).

SIMMs must be PD-coded for 80ns, even if of faster access time.

I thought the foam was mainly for noise suppression. if that is not really an issue or does not make that much difference, then why not just leave it out? I will probably end up scraping out the rest in mine.

Curious, is the Upgrade Card 486DLC-66 and the Blue Lightning (BLC) the same CPU?
