Yall remember when 2k was a game about basketball and how you were meant to create a myplayer to become the next “legend”. Now all we get is this garbage worrying about the difference between milliseconds lmao. We have regressed and it will only get worse from here.

Last time I took 2k seriously was 16/17. I was a Legend 1 on the park in 2k16 and truly the last 2k I genuinely enjoyed.

Now every few years or so I try to buy the latest 2k to see what it’s about, but I just end up refunding.

The only good takeaway from this year’s game is that it looks hyper-realistic.

They need to add an arcade mode the green window rng is lame. People all around play lazy defense and rather play passing lanes spamming square. People don’t care to time their jump shots and layups they rather use low risk, normal or real player %(layups). Green lights sometimes bounce around the rim while slightly late or early often swishes. Paint defense is weird. People are scared to shoot even wide opens. The rec is extremely stressful they dont give u the pass while open, neither they pass much bc pgs have low pass n even tho they are offensively oriented they still trash. I would love an arcade mode so I dont have to worry about rng n not mess my visual cue

I figured out shooting in 2k25 istg it’s only 2 animation speeds no matter what jumper you use if a defender is close to you or you moving your pull up gone be fast asf if you wide open or standing still your pull up gone be slow asf that’s why people be missing so much slow your jumper speed down idc what the grades are even if it’s a B+ release speed is still fast asf, watch how you start greening more…
