Calculus II: Volume Part 2 (Full Lecture)

Day 2 of Volume. We introduce the technique of volume by cylindrical shells. We include an example calculating volume of a solid of revolution two ways: Shells with respect to x and washers with respect to y.

Professor Hower, thank you for an outstanding video/lecture on the Volume of Revolution by the method of Shells. I found this method much easier to follow and understand than the Disk and Washer methods. The graphs and problems/examples increase my understanding of the subject.
