hi,
A little confused here: You said around 11:50 in this video, that for IPv6, you replace groups of two or more 0 segments (segment=2 octets) with "::"
If its just one 0 segment then do you just write ":0"? So would
become 1:0:10:A0:0:B:12:5435

Also, when you replace the 0 segments with the "::", how do you know how many 0 segments there were and where every other segment should be. Ex:
would become 1::A::54 right?
would also be 1::A::54, so how do you or the computer know which is the correct expanded form?

Also does the last segment have to be a non zero value always in an IPv6 address?

I am confuse because 127.0.0.1, the loopback is still a private IP
