As a fan of Anne Rice and AMC’s Immortal Universe, this was a special day. I was fortunate enough to attend the SAG screening of Interview with the Vampire. Below are a few photos from the event and a couple video clips. In one clip, Sam Reid speaks on how the iconic author described Lestat’s laugh. Another is of Jacob Anderson reminding us of how powerful Lestat is.

It's true what Lestat's strength is compared to Louis, he's probably hiding at least half of his powers, that is until his attempt on his life by Claudia, that he is so strong at that point as a young vampire due to being made by a powerful vampire, drinks the blood of Marius and then Akasha, but makes Louis as human as possible

That's a great point. Lestat is so powerful, having tasted of Akasha's blood already (in season one he murmers to himself "those who must be kept"), that he constantly had to hold back. He could have killed his fledglings with his mind if he let his anger fet the best of him.

Never read and Rice's books and after seeing Interview with the Vampire I had to watch the movie with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt by far this series is magnificent and these guys are true actors that are straight men. There are a lot of beautiful parts in S1, but the scene that is ingrained in my memory is them dancing in white at the masquerade ball. Bravo! They both deserve Emmys and the interviewer as well. 😉🌈👍🏽

I want to know how difficult it was for them to do intimacy scenes, nobody has asked them and it is so strange in most heterosexual intimate scenes actors are asked about it in interviews. I recently watched bridgerton and the actors are constantly asked about the intimacy scenes in interviews.
