I own a 17 performance pack Mustang Premium. The extra 3 grand was definitely worth it.

The Torsion set-up alone, along with the brakes, can easily eat up the extra cash you spend on the performance pack if you were to put it on a stock GT, and I don't believe this was touched on this in your presentation.

The extra performance goodies like the strut tower brace, which as stated in the video makes it easier to "point and shoot", stiffer bushings and springs, larger sway bars, heavy duty radiator, are basically frosting on the proverbial cake.

It would be difficult to purchase and install all of these upgrades for 3 thousand dollars.

With this being written, I enjoyed the review. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to more videos gentlemen.

The Premium Performance Package in Ford's answer to the 1LE Camaro. It's well worth the price. Stiffer springs and shocks. A much bigger tire package and a big brake system. It's all engineered by the gearheads of at Ford so it all fits correctly and you haven't voided any warranties. Just the brake kit is about $2k. The gears are over $1k installled. Some friends and I compared it directly to my GR350R and a base GT. It shits all over the base GT. The gearing gets it off the line faster, wider rubber means less wheel slip. The car rides differently too if feels like a spring ready to snap a bit more nervous in a good way.Comparing it to the Shelby was a bit much. It's hard to believe they both share a lot of the same underpinnings But $3k is a no brainer. Cross off the adaptive cruise control or the nav in place of the PPP.

Checking in after the 670 hp Roush supercharger install on our 2016 GT convertible manual trans w/3.31 gears. I got 285 Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires in the rear, 255's front and w/that tire and gearing, 670 hp is actually very manageable and hooks up nicely from a stop (I don't know how 3.73's are). The Coyote power build remains similar to stock but around 4k RPM hold on! It runs great and the power is super smooth and as a daily driver you'd never know it's supercharged unless you step on it. Unfortunately you can't hear much of the whine. However, I've had a starting issue since installing it (at a local Ford dealer that said they did a few of them, research dealers if you put one on). It starts hard after sitting for about 30 mins (but if only 10 mins or over an hour of sitting, it fires up perfectly), not sure what's going on there. I ended up getting the Roush warranty but I want to get it resolved. Be aware (at least in WI) insurance companies don't like you supercharging your Mustang, but rates didn't go up that much; I did have to switch insurance companies. MPG on a 800 mile road trip overall was just over 24 mpg w/a trip best interstate stretch of 70 mph of 27.2! In my normal driving when I was getting 17-18, there's only a 1-2 mpg penalty, it is not driven lightly! Overall I'm happy. I hope you and you all in Texas are doing well and recovering strongly! I hope the Whataburgers survived!

I honestly don't even know how this is a valid question. For 3k, can you even replace the components in the aftermarket? You get the Ford Performance Street pack (minus lowering spring), 6 piston Brimbo brakes, 19" wheels/tires, upgraded radiator, strut tower brace, 3.73 diff gear, and a splitter for front brake cooling.

I have a 17 GT PP and I totally think It’s worth it. The wheels are sick, the 373s are great and the Brembos alone are worth the difference.

It's worth the $3000 and then some.

I think the Performance Back has an improved cooling system for the engine and maybe the transmission too.

I wish I had the 3.55. They give you the best of both, better pick but not as bad of gas as the 3.73. Don't think it was mentioned but he sway bars are bigger on the PP. I plan on putting the tower brace and K brace on mine. Great vid

The trim piece on the dashboard that you call plastic is actually aluminum

Love the vid man! The dash is a PP thing. The PP also has a larger radiator. And the larger brakes won't really give you much noticeably street braking performance difference, but will give you much better performance on track because more heat capacity and less brake fade and what not. Source: I drive a 15 GT PP. Oh and the 3.73 torsen is worth every penny

The Performance package also has a cowl brace and larger radiator too.

Great video. I would say p.p. is worth it. Now if your on a budget or you rather get the premium trim upgrade, you still getting a sweet daily driver

Really good no bullshit review. I thought the owner of the base model was pretty honest about the differences.
