This is the easiest explained tire video I've EVER seen. 🎉 Thank you! Officially moving forward with my purchase.

I hate how higher model cars come with larger wheels and smaller tires. It’s like the opposite of an upgrade IMO

Very, very good advise. I would also like to mention that even these high performance super cars etc with very low, hard and wide tyres never see the speed performance they were designed for. Our speed limits guarantee that. They are simply mostly trophy cars. My local mechanics business deals in Aston Martin's etc and many very fast so called luxury cars, and yet after fixing and tuning them, he has no way of even road testing them because of the speed limits on our roads. I have a fast car and an ordinary car but neither will ever see their full capacity used and enjoyed. Fortunately for me I'm into comfort and enjoy the extraordinary comfort of my LWB Jaguar XJ rather than the performance.

Great info, I confirm all you said as accurate and true. I changed for a high profile tyre to low profile for looks. The high profile tyre offers a more comfortable ride.

90s JDM wheels in 14 inch or 13 inch very good combo for most cars.

In my opinion wheels should be as small as possible to still fit over the brakes.

Wider then normal OEM tires ( one or two up) may not always provide better traction. Contrary, braking/traction performance would slightly decrease.
I think that the use of wide tires is closely related to cornering performance and aerodynamic loads.
So if your vehicle puts significant aerodynamic load on high speed conditions (via wings, spoilers etc) and cornering performance is crucial, wide tires can be justified (on dry surfaces).

I know a guy who got 13 inch rim in his new 2020 swift and got a customised High profile tyre, at that time I didn't understand y he did that, where in all others were going for 15-16 inch stylish looking diamond cut, this cut that cut and god know what cut alloy wheels.

Know I understood the whole purpose 😁✌🏼

I use 215/65 R16 tires on Car against the Manufacturer recommended 215/60 R16. But the extra comfort is worth it. Soaks up bumps like a champ
