Yes I have loads of passion and get excited and then feel uncertain because I find it difficult comprehending academic writing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know everyone does but, trying to move passed the stumbling blocks so I’m seeking solutions for that.

So I’m starting your workshop today.

Hi, I had a question about what you mentioned in the 4th point, how exactly are we going to control that! Isn't that more of a luck factor? As in, it happens a lot that, while selecting a mentor we come across multiple mentors, out of which, some might have a field's top achievements under their belt but have a reputation of being arrogant or super hard to work with; meanwhile there are also some who've had a career probably not as illustrious as the top-achievers, but are still reputable, and also are known for being super supportive. Now my question is, that these cases mentioned above are very common to occur, but mostly, while selecting the mentors, their academic careers are easy to find, but it's very rare, I think (please forgive me if that's not the case), that there are online or any records of how supportive they are as a mentor. So won't the event of finding a mentor ticking both the boxes (good career + good mentor) be more of a luck factor?
