One Direction star Liam Payne laid to rest at funeral

Friends, family and former bandmates of Liam Payne will come together today (November 20) to grieve the 31-year-old following his tragic death in Argentina.

The former One Direction singer will be laid to rest today in the Home Counties, a month after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires on October 16.

His body was flown back to the UK on November 6, with the flight being tracked by thousands of his devastated fans.

Liam, who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2010 as one fifth of the boy band, sustained "serious injuries that were incompatible with life", with an inquiry into his death still ongoing.
