21. Even Vidura's speech, which follows the Vastraharan, states that Draupadi is awaiting a reply to her question, weeping like an Orphan (II.61.52). Surely Vidura would have been the first to protest against any attempted stripping that took place and Draupadi's miraculous escape in her appeal to Krishna/Dharma. It is significant that he refers neither to Vikarna's response in support of Draupadi nor to Karna rebuking him, abusing Draupadi, and even ordering Dusasan to strip her. But Vidura's response seems as if the entire incidence never even happened. In the above points we have already proved how even Shri Krishna while counting Karna's misdeeds does not ever mention the attempted stripping nor does he blame Karna for the same. (VIII.67.2-3).

22. When Draupadi herself speaks after Karna bids her be taken to Kauravas apartments and work as a dasi (probably an attempt on his part to end the humiliation), she only expresses her bewilderment at being dragged into the assembly hall but not a word about the Vastraharan. Neither does she mention her miraculous escape with the help of Shri Krishna/Dharma. Even the Kauravas, the perpetrators nor the assembly show the slightest shock, wonder, or fear at divine and miraculous help and escape of Draupadi. (II.62.1-14).

Subsequently after the event there is a huge cry by the ominous beasts like jackals, hyenas, rakshasas, etc. After this Vidura and Gandhari manage to convince Dritrashtra to intervene while mentioning the crime that took place but neither mention any attempted disrobing of Draupadi. (II.63.24).

24. Even Dritrashtra immediately rebukes his son for his wicked speech to the Dharampatni of Pandavas Draupadi but not for any heinous attempt to strip her.

25. The best of all, even the vow that Bhima makes to kill Kauravas refers to Draupadi's hair having been touched, (paràmrsya). (II.62.34) whereas Nakula's vow mentions her being verbally abused (yairvàcah sravita ruksah). (II.68.43). Neither Pandava brothers mention any disrobing or its attempt which would have been the gravest sin and suitable for taking the oath of vengeance.

26. When Draupadi proceeds on exile she is described as wearing the bloodstained cloth (II.70.9). If Krishna/Dharma had constantly replaced her cloth then how can she still be wearing the same blood-stained cloth?

27. In the last chapter of Sabhaparvan, Dritrashtra laments that 'they dragged the wretched Draupadi to the middle of the hall.. clothes in her single garment and stained with blood.. Duryodhana and Karna threw biting insults at the suffering Draupadi and Pandavas'. (II.72.12.18). There is once again no mention of the greatest of crimes ie attempted disrobing and her miraculous escape thereof.

28. Dritrashtra also tells Sanjay (II.72.19-20) that Bharata women and Gandhari cried out in anguish and Brahmins did not perform the Sandhya ritual on the day of dice game, furious about the dragging of Draupadi. Again there is no reference to any attempted disrobing. (35)

29. In the Vanaparva, Sanjay describes his master's words (parikarsanè) to describe the outrage but makes no mention of disrobing
