Sarasota Sharks is a USA Swimming Gold Level Swim Club and in 2020 has been ranked by USA Swimming 11th in the nation and #1 in Florida! We have been "Developing Champions Since 1961".

We have a long outstanding tradition of producing some of the top swimmers in the world. Hundreds of State Champions, dozens of National Champions, NCCA Champions and many World Ranked swimmers with 39 (32 in the last four cycles) Olympic Trial Qualifiers including three Olympians and one Paralympian: Emma Weyant 2021; Tripp Schwenk 1992, 1996; Kimberly Linehan 1980, 1984; and Cindy Gettinger 1988.

The Sarasota Sharks take even more pride in creating a reputable and respected program for swimmers at every level. From casual swim fitness to elite competitive swimming “the process” has been trusted for generations. With a selfless mantra “For the Team” (FTT) and a community created with 60 years of “Once a Shark always a Shark”, the Sarasota Shark program has provided a foundation for success in and out of the pool for decades.
