It's so refreshing to see the judge be positive, kind, understanding, accommodating, nurturing, and pleasant. How incredible.

Chef Amaury people management skill is mind-blowing. He's able to instill confidence in those who didn't think they could ever win and those who were overzealous he knew how to handle them.

As someone who binge watches a lot of these shows, this show surprised me and came up top. I didnt know Chef Amaury other than tik tok vids where he didnt talk and it kinda made him seem cold and aloof. But watching this show, he is such a gentle but firm and passionate teacher. His techniques that he taught wowed me. This show was very well done and Chef Amaury is a breath of fresh air as a tv personality who doesnt need to come off as loud or harsh to be respected.

Also, i loved that there was no eliminations. Everyone was able to grow and learn in every round without the fear of being kicked out in that episode.

Shows like this are so much better when nobody is screaming at each other

Absolutely loved this show. I loved how the chef came in and wanted to help each contestant out, that is a passionate teacher right there. Also loved the fact that no one was eliminated and that they each got to learn all of these new techniques. The arrogance from Mellissa is what got me triggered, I absolutely hated how she treated her teammates and Juan definitely deserved everything he got, he and tanisha were some of my favorites for sure. They all did well and an absolute must to watch this show and see all of the artistic creations made.

The chocolate work is AMAZING! But it was refreshing to have reality competition without eliminations…this is truly a school where everyone gets the full opportunity to learn and grow.

This guy's imagination is really wild, he's mad talented. And the patience he has to create these wonderful desserts is mind-blowing

Mellisa didn’t know this whole time she was being taught specifically the “technique” of humility. It was a very discreet lesson from Chef to her.

I just finished today and it was such an uplifting show. Bring it back year after year but please leave it the way it is, don't turn it into some stupid chaotic show where the "contestants" run around and create crap. This show is just pure class and that teacher pure inspiration

I’m so excited that Netflix starts to put more money into shows like Zumbo or this, shows that lean more to very artistic patisserie and less to "Make a 6ft cake in 1h, consisting of rice krispies and fondant“. I don’t mind fondant and I don’t mind rice krispies, both has its place in baking, but the whole concept has been done enough now.

Chef Amaury is amazing! Great at people management skills. The only thing that bugged the most was the approach that Melissa took. It felt as if she was a version of Skyler White. She may be right but the blunt way she put things and how she only saw herself as the best without considering the overall team effort was frustrating to watch.

Just binge watched this and it was so good!! I'm French so I'm familiar with Amaury; I've seen him before on a patisserie competition on tv and followed his social media accounts. I didn't expect him to be this good at teaching too. This show is overall so refreshing!! Season 2 3 4 5 please netflix!!!

This show was amazing the chef was absolutely humbling and inspiring it’s so nice to see a judge who isn’t mean to his students for the sake of entertainment. Every chef was truly talented though some more narcissistic than others (Melissa) it was irritating that she wasn’t able to acknowledge the talent in her co chefs

I am convinced he is half in love with Tyricia because the way he always smiles for her, while pushing her to do better is so beautiful.
