What the video leaves out is the necessity to have a camera body that allows micro adjustments to overcome front/rear focus.

Compared to the pancake this lens is much louder when changing the focus. So I don't think taking vids will be that silent with a build in microphone. (Personal experience)

But damn this lens is a beast for taking portraits :)
