So happy to see these 2 originals keeping the legacy going. They'll always be a part of musical history

The Chantays were one hit wonders while at Santa Ana High School, Ca, because their parents wouldn't let them tour until after graduation. They told me that as a bar band in late 80s, Dana Point, I bar tended and they were too much fun. Lots of retired Hollywood types came in (Tab Hunter was nice, Wilbur from Mr Ed was cool, OJ not so much) these guys were the best. Heard Pipeline 3 times a night, love them forever.

A friend of mine from our freshman year in high school (1965) played guitar exceptionally well. He could play about any song that was requested and one of his personal favorites was Pipeline. Hit did it justice.

This was the 2nd song I learned on the organ/piano. Farfisa and fender super reverb. What a way to put a smile on peoples faces. If I could I would play again! Fantastic group.

The very first Rock song I ever heard on the Radio when I was 8 years old as my parents were driving to Indianapolis. Here I am at 67 and still Rockin', harder than ever. Nice job guys.

First song I ever learned to play. Both lead and rhythm. Brings back memories.

It was nice to see Warren back playing the base. Haven't seen him since the late 1960

A staple for all Long Island Garage Bands in the 60’s. One of the first songs most aspiring LI ax men learned ... after Wipeout.

Living in Kenner Louisiana in the mid '60s', this was one of the first tunes I learned to play on guitar!

I think it’s great how that cheesy electric piano sound plays such an important part of this guitar classic tune!
