Hey man, I currently run a 3600 with an rx 6600 xt, I still get somebottlenecking in some games like BF2042 and Halo Infinite and I wanted to to future proof my myself by getting a 5600 (non x). I’ve had my 3600 for a year since this is my first PC. I later got the 6600 xt when prices came back to normal. Do u recommend the upgrade or shall I just wait it out on AM5 or just leave it for now?

By the way, I have a rig (i3 6300, GALAX 1050Ti, 4x2 DDR4, ASRock H110M HDV) and would like to upgrade to Ryzen 5 Series.
As of right now, I don't have any intention of buying a new VGA, so I think I'm going to stick with 1050Ti and get a B450M motherboard and a Ryzen CPU. 

Which Ryzen 5 do you think is best to pair with 1050Ti and 4x2 RAM?
Is it Ryzen 5 5600G or Ryzen 5 3600X? (Ryzen 5600G means that if somehow my 5-year-old 1050Ti died, I could use the iGPU)
I only need this PC for gaming, and currently my monitor only supports 1360 x 768 resolution.

Hey dont know if youll reply but, I have a ryzen 5 3600x paired with a 2060s, I have issues with frame drop in my games while I record/stream (which is most of the time). Is it worth it to upgrade to a 5600x now considering its price is at around 300?

Really enjoyed your video. I currently have a 3900x, impulse buy, I was going to buy the 3600x but I thought I was treating myself and future proofing. My current GPU is the GTX 1070 and would like to upgrade. I was thinking of selling the 3900x and getting the 5600x and pair it with a 3070/80. But on the other hand keep the 3900x and still get the 3070/80. Your thoughts would be welcoming.

Should I get a 3600 + 3070 combo or a 5600x + 3060 one? Those are the two available to me and I'm quite confused as to what to get. I want to use lots of adobe apps, blender and also game on ultra settings. Any help?

x570 board with r5 3600 and 3060TI here. I did switched to a 5600x but most games has a really good jump in FPS. Its also alot smoother.

this is very helpful info! I still have a question however. I bought a rig with 3600x + 2060 S, and I have a 5600x laying around. will I see any gaming advantage? I do some Blender rendering and work with Unreal engine on the system also, is why I thought it might be good to do the swap

Good comparisation. i was thinking upgrading from 2070 to 3070/6700xt on my 3600x. seems like i should wait when 3080 gets back to normal price and then upgrade gpu and cpu both. 5600x is already 330 eur now.
