A fee months ago I would've taken my ex back with open arms... But I spoke to her the other day and she asked if I wanted to get back with her?! This was 2 weeks after she broke up with her rebound.. 1) I'm not going to be the rebound off the rebound.

If you successfully execute NC over the period of a month to two months, you will free yourself from your ex's influence. You'll have your emotions back under control. You will get yourself back first, which is more important than getting your ex back.

Once you get yourself back, you'll probably realize that you don't want your ex back. Why should you have gone through all that pain and suffering after getting dumped to improve yourself, just to make your ex happy? Your ex didn't do anything to improve himself/herself during that same time. The new relationship will still be very one sided in nature.

If you do decide to try again with your ex, don't be afraid to ask for things from them before starting, too.

In the end, it's probably safer to just move on. Your ex dumped you for a reason. Chances are you haven't really changed what bothered your ex in the first place. So why go through it again when your ex decides to break up with you a second time?

Guys, come on now, why would you want someone if they ended the relationship with you? Think about it for a min, this person is basically saying, with their actions, " I can find someone better than you. " Use this as motivation to push you to be a better individual, dont make excuses, dont coddle yourself, take the time to self analyze and focus this precious time on yourself and improve your mind and physique. Also, dont rush into any relationship, you'd be doing yourself a big disservice and perhaps even the person you are dating. Strong minded individuals are content being alone while weak minded people have to have someone by their side. Let them go, it's ok to leave certain people. As long as you did your best in the relationship and didnt fuck up then you have nothing to feel bad about, life goes on and so should you. Have some God damn self respect for yourself. Good luck.
