It used to be better when parking was free and you could literally park at the bottom. I'm so blessed to grow up during a time when outdoor activities weren't commercialized tourist attractions.

There is a guy who does it twice a day 5 days a week and another who carries up a foldable bike to ride back down. Once was enough for me 😂

There’s a guy who is locally known for going up the incline with some kind of foldable bike on his back, and then he unfolds it at the top, and like extreme mountain bikes down the descent side. I’ve done the incline three times and I’ve seen him on two of those.

The Incline is a solid short hike. I've climbed it dozens of times. I love it! It's the walk down the Barr Trail that sucks. Someone, please install a zip line.

I'm surprised you didn't film one of the 60-70 year old ladies that offer words of encouragement as they pass you by on the way up 😂

They should build a slide so when you get to the top you don't have to walk back down.

Hiked it 100 times in 2018. Was in the best shape of my life that year.

Every year on September 11, firefighters from all over the country, climb the incline in full rescue gear to honor the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11.

There's a really cool tradition that several people do every year here on the Incline. Every September 11th, a bunch of firefighters come from all around the country and they hike up, all while wearing their full bunker gear. They do this to memorialize the firefighters lost in the towers.

So happy to live only 20 minutes away from here! Such a beautiful place especially in fall and spring

my dad is almost done with his 500 climbs within 365 days, been doing it 2-4 times almost everyday, half of it with a broken foot, until about a month ago, when he started slowing the numbers down so he could choose a day to finish.

My (adult) children do this a couple times a year and i still don't get it! I've lived here since 1996 and have never been that bored! Lol

I did it before they renovated it. Use to be a lot harder. Now it's like a hard hike.

I'm a native and a local. I've done it several times, even as training for backpacking. You did a great job!

I’ve climbed it a few times, and I really enjoy it as soon as it’s over, and keep wanting to go back

I'm proud of the 6 times I've climbed the Incline... and I'm from the tropics! The bailout point always looks so tempting, but I push on and am so happy when I get to the top. Totally worth it!
