I recognise here the CS 1.5 and 1.6 that I played in 2001... CS 2 is almost the same old but amazing game.

The biggest complaint for me compared to cs 1.5 and 1.6 is the weird way the models run and move their arms. 1.6 model movement looks a million times better to me. Besides that it seems pretty good but I guess I'm picky because that model movement makes it unplayable for me.

I used to play Counter Strike 1.6 I believe it was and it was great. Great childhood memories that's for sure. With the recent call of duty craze, can this game still hold up with players and gameplay?

I played CS1.6? on the network at EDS NZ back in circa 2000...
I like that 23 years later they have the same maps. Great for nostalgia... and I probably wouldn't mind playing it... BUT...

23 years later and it barely looks better than the original game pumped through a high end graphics card to add texture..

It looks about as real as Peter Jackson's Tintin, , Although that is a little harsh as Tintin is supposed to be based on a cartoon... yet looks MORE realistic and ambient.
