Man, once the detectives have their sights set on someone, they'll do anything to twist the facts, to fit their theory! I used to think that if a suspect automatically lawyered up, they were guilty. I've seen so many botched cases since then, I'd immediately get a lawyer! And if you're innocent, it's soo difficult to get them to listen even with proof, cos they don't want to admit to a mistake. The West Memphis Three is a perfect example! The three boys who were falsely convicted will never get their names cleared, and the three boys who were murdered will never get justice! Too many careers were built off the back of this insanely warped case!

2. Because of his kind actions, the stranger killed his mother, so the guy must feel guilty for his mother's death
3. Gets blamed for his mother's death after bringing the stranger to her

This case should be used as a study to new detectives starting in the system . Allowing to eliminate all doubt before accusing an innocent man. GEEZ. I feel bad for Charles. Not only did he lose his mother to a gruesome murder, he was also falsely accused of doing it! Terrible. I'm glad that even though at first the detectives seemed to have tunnel vision on Charles as the murderer, they stuck with it and found the real killer.

I really like this channel, it’s a new one and I like seeing them grow and hearing the narrator get more comfortable and confident in their delivery of the story as time goes on. I watch several crime creators, That Chapter, Coffeehouse Crime, Truly Criminal… and on & on. I love this case, it’s different than what the other channels are putting out and that’s awesome!! Just slow down and tell us the story… the delivery isn’t flowing yet, but you’ll be a master storyteller in no time. Keep putting out great content ❤😊
