This is confusing. But, prophesy is not my strong suit. With the transfiguration on the mount, Elijah was there. I wonder if the prophesy had a double meaning, pointing to the Transfiguration? The Bible has so many layers; an onion would be envious. Regardless, LORD Yeshua the Anointed one is our Savior. Amen.

Yes Reincarnation is possible. If Elijah and John The Baptist were not one and the same, then scripture is nullified because the anticipation of Elijah before Jesus appeared is non fulfilled. Elijah never made his appearance then before Christ. When Jesus said He did!!! When Jesus said:"...but they did not Recognize (Know) Him" then how could people a thousand years apart since Elijah lived Recognize or Know him???
