I don't understand why some "christians" don't respect the prophets and messengers (peace be upon them all). When Isa/Jesus (peace be upon him) returns, he will not bring any new laws/message, but come to fulfill the prophecy and as a follower of Muhammad (peace be upon him). He will be with the Muslims who will be fighting against the dajjal/anti-christ. He will live on this earth until his appointmented time of death and pass away; as all souls shall taste death. Indeed to Allah (God) we belong and to him is our return (for reconning/judgement).

John didn’t know that was his role because like the other Jews he thought the actual Elijah was coming back but Jesus clarifies that John came in the power and spirit of Elijah. Simple.

The more you read the bible, the dumber you get. And one day after all your degrees and stuff, you go ahead and say 1+1+1= 1.

Matthew records Jesus saying that John the Baptist was the Elijah to come while John 1 John the Baptist denying he was Elijah to come. This is not contradiction, it is John the Baptist being humble regarding something he was uncertain of. You know Muslims especially this cowboy can stand to be a little humble now and then. I guess since their so called prophet was not humble, it’s a bit hard for them to be.

I am afraid and thinking, will they think the dajjal(antichrist) as Jesus (pbuh) ? 😮

John 1:19-21 says John the Baptist himself denied he was Elijah.

Twisting scripture to fit your beliefs. Try that with someone who knows your Quran Text and the Hadith. And let's talk about your Prophet, who couldn't read or write.. what did he predict that came to past.. respectfully

The Elijah to come was Jesus Christ. Some thought John was Elijah but John said “there was one coming who he was not fit to tie his Sandle”.

At the last supper Jesus set at the seat of Elijah drinking from the cup meant for Elijah signaling the prophecy had been fulfilled by the Christ, our messiah.

Glory be to God!

Interesting because when Muslims use John 1:19–21 to say that the Prophet is coming, they use the contradiction to their advantage.

They say: “Look, John said he wasn’t Elijah even though Jesus confirmed it in Matthew. That means ‘the prophet’ wasn’t Muhammad (saw) and already came.”
