In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!

It looks like it was loaded with the same level of care and attention.

As a kid, I watched my dad unload a brand new 1980 Fatbob Harley like that, at the dealership. He was done with it. Gave it back.

That was 13 seconds of awesomeness we wouldn't have got to see without your handy cam skills, 😉

Felt like doing that several times this weekend. Just finished moving and that is a much more effective way to unload. Lol

Lol. I was scrapping a very large A/C unit. When I got to the recycling facility I was told it would be awhile until the loader could get it off my truck so I got the chain, tied it around the unit and around a large metal something and drove out. It unloaded great but almost took the tailgate with it. Lol.

Gotta do it quickly, saw a dumpster full up of electric motors, cast aluminum ingots, snipits and copper pipes.

I always wanted to try that but my scrap rigs usually only had one functional brake.

Well, any labor-saving measure is always welcome. That literally did 35-50% of the job done!

I work in the scrap business and have seen this many of times lol! My question is how the word do all these little trucks carry that weight?!

I'm in Michigan. If I'd done that with my 02 GMC my rusted out truck box would have been on the ground with the load.
Keep it solid Mike.

And thats why all scrappers start with a decent truck. And in 4 months it literally could be left at the yard for scrap.

Wouldn't want to be driving behind him on the highway with that professionally-secured load.
