Owning 250 adv for over a month now and I am happy that I did not went for himalyan it's lighter and easier coming from a 19 bhp avenger tried Off-road, daily commute as well as touring on it and it does'nt dissapoint at all.

RE HIMALAYAN is too loaded with Metals nothing else ..
1. Lack technology 2. Too much Heavy 200 kg 3. No liquid cool it should be in adv bikes. 4. Powerless engine compare to KTM 250 Adv. 5 Spoket wheel, better to have tubeless during tour saves time, distances and energy. 6 less space for pillions 7.side mirror view less visibility in highways.8 Vibration and heating issues above 80/90 km/hr.

In 250 you will not get a knocking on 1st and 2 nd gear but in 390 there is knocking at 1 and 2 gear which will irritate a rider.
