I love when your final statement is, “It’ll be fine!”

It is great to see how you alter different types of fabrics! Your videos are always so informative🌻

That top came out amazingly perfect. The "topstitching" zigzag on the sleeves made it look like the original seam and made all the difference in a professional looking finish.

Great outfit, Catherine! It would have been as perfect a date night outfit back in my day (I’m 75:) as it is right now. You did an excellent job of making it fit you!! I love this channel & learn so many things - and no stress!! It’ll be fine!! ❤️👏🏻

Catherine the fact that you can actually thank on the fly when doing any of your sewing projects is pretty cool

Cute new outfit! I really like the top. It can be worn over many different colored camisole tops, especially since the pants have lots of colors in them, too. Big win.

Thank you, Catherine! I learn so much from every video that you make and each one builds my confidence. I hope the fireworks were as beautiful as your outfit ❤

Wow, that is a gorgeous lace crocheted top, and you even improved it! I would have been stymied!

The pants look great too, thanks for showing your hemming method, I would have not tried, but now I think I could.

You do such a variety of projects - thank you!

I love your video's. Thank you for the fip on the stabilizing stuff for the pants. I sew (yes I serge too) but I also sew 'a lot' with knits and I'm not that skilled, so I spend a ton of time, testing on the scraps. Also they look 'great'!! How you sew, makes me feel better about how I sew. Because I haven't taken any courses since Home Ec in 1977 (or even before that...lol)...so, I'm learning on the fly. And these video's are a huge help. I love how you tailor things to fit you! I do that also. Thanks again! I look forward to more!

Well done, Catherine! That was intense, and encouraging! Such a pretty outfit. Always a pleasure to learn from you. Hope the fireworks were fun.

On fabric like the top, to get that "finished" edge on the sleeve, instead of just zig-zaging before cutting, you could zig-zag 1/8" elastic along the sleeve line. Besides giving more of a visual of where to cut, you will also have a more sturdy edge to sew into the armhole.

Love this outfit! The shaped side seams add such an interesting element to the look of top without looking obviously taken in. Thanks, Catherine.

The frixion pens I own were made for quilters. Any marks I make with them will reappear when the fabric gets freezing cold (the marks do not wash out). However the marks will disappear when you put heat to the marks again. I hope your frixion pens are not the same kind as mine. You look great in your cute outfit.

Fun to watch. I love open lace type of tops, but have not dared to sew on one. This video gives me a good example how to work on one. A new craft project idea for me! Thank you!

I love what you did to make that lace top to make it fit you, just right!

Great video, Catherine, it was really helpful to see how you realized you needed to allow for more fabric in the back top sleeve and to watch you adjust that fit. The top looks great on you! Cheers!🎉❤
