That's a fantastic idea. Unlike cutting the hem if you make a error in measuring with this method you can just cut the thread and start over. Thank you.

Tnx for this tutorial, I recently notice that the tailor I bring my garments to be repaired or modified seems always to get the modification I described wrong it's either overdone or underdone and always seems confrontational if I mention this to him, it doesn't use to be this way, maybe personal problem is affecting his work and attitude. Anyway there's a saying ; "if u want something to done right do it yourself", I'll try doing this method by myself.
