Ok, here's the second video in a series of videos on this new house build. If you watched the first one you can tell that the design has changed. It isn't going to be much of a passive solar design because of the slope. We had to remove the concrete main floor (due to costs), but we did gain a basement. Caulk that one up to my dumb idea. Even with those mistakes we are moving forward. If you are looking or thinking about building a house, my hope is you don't make the same mistake we did.
