Chinese premier meets U.S. envoy, calls for management of differences

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with several leaders and high-level officials on the sidelines of the annual ASEAN summit in Thailand. During his talks with U.S. National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, Li said exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States have brought real benefit to both sides and the rest of the world since the two countries established diplomatic ties 40 years ago. He added that differences must be managed and win-win cooperation should be upheld under the consensus reached by the leaders of both China and the U.S.. O'Brien also called for disagreements to be dealt with properly in order to push forward bilateral ties.
