US Deputy Secretary of State to meet China's new envoy in Washington

US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman is set to meet China's new ambassador Qin Gang as the world's two largest economies navigate strained relations. They are scheduled to meet at the State Department in Washington. Ms Sherman held high-level talks with Beijing last month. Both sides have already agreed that concessions have to be made for ties to improve.
