I have bought products from Temu. The products are of good quality and they come on time. Three times the product did not meet my expectations and I asked for a refund and got it. I didn't even had to send it back.

I opened a new email account to get a second new customer coupon for a another order and I did not back the email up with my phone number and the account was hacked after placing a temu order. I have never used that email account for anything else. When I tried to reset my password the phone number linked to the account had a China area code.

My friends buy from it all the time. There's a lot of cool stuff on it. I got friends who like neon masks and goth stuff and anime cosplay. It has it all. On the contrary something I learned in high school which seems to be lacking today you can get the same item that a name brand has without the name and and be cheaper with the same quality. What they're selling that gives you the cost is thee name. Honestly I feel this becomes the Gucci situation. It's really boring clothes with okay quality but they sell their name. You could probably get equal quality somewhere else and look way nicer also for thousands less. On the contrary sometimes products like Prada show their worth though like the boots you see from the show Wednesday. Btw it''s still way cheaper then Gucci. But my point is yes you can sometimes get good stuff from big names but also you can still get nice stuff from things without a name equal to name brands. Also saying China every time does not want me to stop buying from Chinese shops with excuses. I'm definitely smarter then being hateful. Also bought things from Japan and they were cheaper because of thee import/ export costs which sadly being Canadian ordering from the US I can get the same item halfway across the world cheaper then from ordering from the US.

Instead of looking at names and being prejudice about a different country. Try looking at just thee item instead,

what if stuff is so cheap bcuz their main purpose is to collect ur info? such as debit card?

Is there an option regarding delivery.. my packages got delivered to the wrong address 2 times in a row. And I'm not buying again from here, unless I have more security with delivery. Does anyone know if temu can do "signature upon delivery " ?

BBB is not a stellar organization anyway.. you can buy your A+ rating.. Not very trustworthy.

My kids always want me to buy something off Temu but I worry about how safe it is to use. Maybe I’ll buy a prepaid debit card and try it that way.

Not that its cheap always, but its efficient, works and fair quality. Local providers have been buying from China for years at these prices and selling it on to us South Africans at more than 200% more like 400%. Local providers are now complaining that they are loosing out. What Nonsense. We are being ripped off and we are a member of BRICS so what they heck. SARS now impossing a 45% tax on clothing then this should go for all clothing imports even by local retailers. We just making South Africans poorer.
