Synopsis: Two retired women, Nina and Madeleine, have been secretly in love for decades. Everybody, including Madeleine’s family, thinks they are simply neighbors, sharing the top floor of their building. They come and go between their two apartments, enjoying the affection and pleasures of daily life together, until an unforeseen event turns their relationship upside down and leads Madeleine’s daughter to gradually unravel the truth about them.

So, the closet ain't the best place to suffer a stroke in? Groundbreaking news? Not so much, is it? More like "so what?" Who does overemphasize anyway which one is bedding whom in 2020?
"Do You have a problem with {old} lesbians?" - "Of course not!" - "See? Nobody cares!"
Why, then, do I have to care as much as I am forced to in 2019 and 2020 by every other movie my recommendation shows because I do not fall for the umpftimeth Cinematic Comic Crap?
I dare You, filmmakers, to tell tales of importance, of societal urgencies, of generational conflicts, of the bloody disruption today's feminism does to kids' safeplaces, of the destroying depression following those same kids' wealth-dilapidations, of neoliberalism and the bankster caliphate, of the hero next door, whatever .... but please, PLEASE start to reduce Your overemphasizing of people's genitalia and their different possible combinations: meanwhile we know they exist, and we don't care.
The world is so much more than scissoring couples - or could be, at least, would You cinematic folks dare to have a look beyond Your deep bowl's brim .... .
