Welcome to this Orangewood Cleo guitar demo and review!
The Cleo is a part of the new Orangewood Topanga range which is their newest line of affordable yet beautiful sounding guitars and improves on the already impressive guitars of the Highland range. The main features of this range include solid Pau Ferro back and sides, mother or pearl rosette and back strip inlays and a gold hardware. In video I'll also be comparing the new Cleo to the next most expensive guitar in Orangewood's range, the Sage.

To my ears through the headphone they both sound great; the Cleo has a bell-like chime and sparkle on the high frequencies whereas the Sage is more mid-focused and resonant on the mid/low frequencies. It's ultimately a question of preference as to which one suits your ears/applications the best.

The Sage is clearly an Amazing Guitar however my ear liked the Cleo much better. I went ahead and ordered the Cleo Live. Excellent review.

Man. I bought a cheap mini guitar for my daughter from orangewood. I love it and want a higher range from ow. I really prefer the feel and look of the satin finish, but really like the inlays on the Cleo. I want a Sage with all the premium bling.

The Cleo to me sounds fresher and louder which appeals to me for fingerpicked tunes. The Sage is a more mellow sound. Although still nice I prefer the Cleo.
