iPhone/iPad/iPod: How to Delete App That Won't Delete from Home Screen (NO 'X')

Here is an informational video on how to delete/remove apps that you cannot delete from the home screen as there is no "x" on the app. This typically happens when an app is stuck or frozen waiting to be installed or loaded.

If this video does not do the trick then you can try to reboot your iOS device as well and sign out then sign back in your app store.

I need a solution for this,
If I delete an app and I power my device off, and when it’s turned on, the app would appear and stay there and you can’t get in! And I don’t know how to fix that!

Thank you so so so so so much the App was unleashed in a virus on my phone and I watched a whole bunch of videos on how to get rid of it and it didn’t work but your video did I am so thankful because the virus could have got rid of all of the pictures on my phone and I was so so so scared and I could’ve access my personal information and deleted my whole account God bless you❤️❤️❤️

Got an easier fix! Change the name of the contact that won't delete. If contact's name is Mike, change it to Mikey. It will delete the old text now that the name has changed on it. COOL!!!!

Hai I did what you did and followed all the steps but whenever I did it my screen would freeze and the app would still be there 😅
