That is an amazing 90 day total!!!! I celebrate and I am so thankful for every sale!!! I am new and I have just under $4000 for my 90 day. I hope to achieve the $10, 000 mark one day! GO That is so

How nice that your dad is learning and connecting with you on reselling! My husband and I enjoy our time with our adult children!

CDS are selling very well. I bought 200 for $15 at a yard sale and made $280 off them. Even kept some for myself lol.

i just hit $11, 000 for my 90days with a 1, 200 item store. my overall store str is only 30% now but am spending most of my time sourcing in demand items. i started at electronics but now sell everything as long as the comps look good. i made the mistake in the beginning buying the cheapest stuff without looking it up which i definitely wasn’t skilled enough to do at the time. i also only went to thrift stores because it was easier to source all in 1 or 2 places. now i look up each and everything if i didn’t recognize it already as something that’s in demand. my goal is to do this full time and be at over $50, 000 before 2025. the sell through rate is a very powerful metric and i know it can be done. i’ve had to switch it up a lot and source everywhere i possibly can to have a steady stream of >50% str items. it’s also taking up essentially every waking hour i have but they’re selling so fast its worth it.

When I first started Ebay the hardest part was Listing and Shipping. Now 2 months in, it is most definitely sourcing 😅

Great advice. Especially around shipping. I opt to go with flat rate and try to set my total target price with a reasonable shipping fee. Im always curious on the psychology of shipping. I’ve been accustomed to Amazon free shipping so I hate paying it. Even though I’m aware shipping is just factored into the total price. My brain cannot get around it. 😂

I'm an experienced seller and I think this was a great video for beginners. I especially agree with your shipping policies which are very similar to my own and help my sales and profit margins considerably.

That’s crazy! Congrats to him, I listed my first item middle of April and am only about $2000 in sales in and almost 250 active listings. Need to get my death pile listed!

No need to mess with the dimensions.. just add a handling cost and your good to go. I do 1 dollar handling at least on pretty much everything

Thank you so much for your valuable insight. Shipping tips: Use the right size box. Small but room for packing material. Lighter and in demand items..

Good points on calculated shipping & how important it is to be correct on that.

Sounds like how I started, selling off a collection of something I was passionate about but just cost money 😂 now I get to buy that stuff all the time, hold onto it and then make money :)

wait. Turn on the buyer receives discounted shipping rate and then adjust the dims a little higher? hmmm. interesting....you also have to be careful when you copy a sold item's info. always look at that they have entered.

I just sold a GameCube with the open button missing. I clearly showed the open button was missing in the pictures and put it in the description and the title. I just got a message yesterday from the buyer, irate that the GameCube does not open. I’m not kidding. I asked how he thought it was going to open without an open button and his answer was “You tell me “. That’s when I just filed a complaint with eBay and I’m fighting him in every way. He can leave a negative feedback, I don’t care. I’m a top-rated seller and cannot believe how obtuse buyers are. It’s enough to make me want to bite somebody 😂

I've thought for a while that most CDs didn't have enough profit to be worth selling. Yesterday, I sold a rare Queen CD for $70. Found it in the decor aisle at Goodwill. Now I figure I should give the CDs some attention while sourcing.
