While I love Crash 4, it isn't a perfect game and there are definitely things it could do better. In this video, I talk about a handful of things I think the game could improve on. Hope you enjoy :]

I think Toys for Bob could easily add a 'no checkpoint' option for the bosses with exclusive skins as reward. It would be a nice challenge.

Pro tip for the load times: do some jumping jacks.

I agree with you, I hope there will be a way to make crash bandicoot 4 it's about time alot better.
Like reduce the loading times on loading screens to make it much quick, improve controls to make it more tight and responsive, fluid, and especially the riding sections with the controls with polar and the cute alien needs to be improve, and the hitbox needs to be improve too.
Fix bugs and glitches, and other issues.
Other improvements.

So here are what I deem to be big issue with this game(in terms of Gameplay);

Timeline stages - you were on point with everything you brought up here, although I must add that playing as Crash/Coco more then the alt characters wouldn't be so much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that as Crash and Coco, we're going through the exact same stages we just did which adds nothing to the narrative or even any Gameplay changes, level design and objectives are all the same as before and because these count as their own stages, we have to go through getting all six gems in these stages again.

N.Sanely perfect relics - I like this idea, harkens back to how gems were collected in Crash 1 which is a cool detail, it's just a shame that it's worse here then in Crash 1 for two reasons. One being that stages longer then ever before in any Crash game which makes it harder when dealing with many obstacles, and the other reason is that any and all deaths screw you over from getting them, including any deaths BEFORE reaching the first checkpoint which unfortunately means hitting the restart option where you're forced to wait 30 seconds for the game to load you back to the start when killing yourself is quicker.

Hidden boxes - I'm all in for a challenge of finding hidden collectables, what I'm not a fan of is going through 15 to 30 minutes of an entire stage collecting every crate I can find, only to reach the end and find out I was off by like 6 boxes, or worse 1 box, and then looking up the locations online to discover that they were hidden in some of the dumbest locations you could place any crates out there. There are a few ways to fix this particular issue; either remove these badly hidden boxes, add a few wumpa fruit trails leading towards them or have a percentage bar for them similar to the one for wumpa fruit where you're required 90 or 95% of all stage boxes, enough so that there's a leniency of 2 to 5 crates depending on the stages.

Three deaths or less gems - Just like the N.Verted mode; this is also a pretty pointless addition. Like, what purpose was there to even add this at all? I'm assuming they added this to incentivise players from not dying too much, especially if people opted for modern mode but, we already have the perfect relics and flashback tapes that already incentivise not dying a single time, this just seems unnecessary. Not only that but say you were aiming for 100% completion rather then 106% and you were to perhaps opt out of getting perfect relics or even trying out the flashback stages; well that just means you only need to get six gems in all stages regularly but that still means you're required to revisit stages a second time after getting five out of the six gems in every stage because you'll be dying more then three times trying to get all crates, especially in any stages where'll you be grinding on rails or riding vehicles like Polar or Shnurgle, and once you do go back for the three deaths or less gems, you start to realise how easy it is when you're not going for any of the boxes or hidden gems and since you don't even need to get any crates or hidden gems whilst not dying three times or more, why even bother making it harder? You could restart from the beginning and get all six gems in one run sure, but that'll just make things longer thanks to how long loading times are. Point being that this particular gem adds no new challenge to the game whatsoever with it's only objective and is just there for the sake of padding.

Boss battles - I'm not necessarily opposed to the boss battles having checkpoints every time you take a piece of HP off of them, but it is pretty weird that these don't even have N.Sanely perfect relics in them since that would've been a really workable compromise for adding checkpoints in them.

Dev relics - Probably the smallest issue for me thus far but the dev relics don't really feel like an addition at all but rather feels more like a cosmetic change since just like the platinum relics from previous games; these are all here for the sake of bragging rights, you need the platinum relics in this game to get the 106% ending and nothing more but if you're skilled enough at time trials, you really don't see much of the differences made with these dev relics, if anything they could change the dev relics to plat relics, plat relics to gold relics, gold to sapphire and just cut the current sapphire ones out of this game completely and it would mean just as much. You don't even get any special rewards for these dev relics, no trophies, no costumes, nothing which makes them feel even more pointless.
