Level 80… the most common place to pause at when building an arc. Then once you realize the power in having more than 1.9, you keep leveling.

Just discovered your excellent animation and narration with great and insightful information .I'm not a newbie my Arc is at 145 and all GB'S over a hundred, but I still enjoyed the video!

Ive always used 1.9 even before I had a 80 Arc and took P4 and P5 spots for blue prints. I now use a full Arc thread amongst a group of 30 friends who all have 120+ Arcs. Always a good suggestion if your Arc is over 100 and you know a few others

Priming spots is called Seeding the positions. In a 1.9 group the owner of the Great Building puts in the amount of forge points before anyone puts forge points on the GB so that a contributor putting in 1.9 forge points of the basic reward which will lock that position. This is done so that there are not enough forge point left to take that position from that contributor. This all works smoothly if all players have an 81 level ARC, I have had trouble before when using a level 80 ARC, fractions count. Also a contributor can add FPs to a GB until the 1.9 amount is reached providing no one else has or will contribute FPs to that GB. Once 1.9 FP has been added the likelihood of someone taking P1 away from that 1st player is low as they would loose FP in the deal. Next the owner puts in the FP amount to lock the position. Seeding for 1.9 for P1 will lock P1 and P2 in that order for 1.9 contributions. Then owner will have to add more FPs to reach the seed amount of FPs for P3, same for P4 and P5. This has worked really well for me but I wish others would seed their GB to be leveled. I find a can not risk adding FPs to GB of other players in the 1.9 GB leveling groups I am in. I level at least 1 GB every day most of the time.
SPECIAL NOTE: to many 1.9 and other GB leveling groups on message threads use cryptic text to post their GB or make contributions. This can be hard to understand and I find that it takes more work to do than just posting your GB directly with a brief description of the open positions condition, ie P1 open on TT for 1.9 contribution to be locked.

Have used the triangle method a lot. It is good to have yourself and 3 mates. That way positions 1-3 are taken. This insures we all get enough prints to level the gb, as well as medals. When in the sweet spot, would give them to the 2 high level players who could take the positions quickly and we would then take positions 3-5.

So I have very successfully combined swaps and 1.9 contributions. I take swaps on a guildmates GB and then add my anticipated reward on top as soon as I can secure.
This approach works exceptionally well since you do not “waste” FPs priming your own GB but rather prime using swaps. It also greatly reduces sniping since positions are taken by guildmates before they can be sniped by outsiders.

5 players in swap threads get rewards in addition to their contribution back. Multiple swaps will also allow you to take P1-P3 spots that early players often don't have enough fp to do.

I want to point out the Forecast cost GB foe tool.
This allows to plan ahead - when to switch from regular swaps to 1.9x.
I use 1.9 when my investment is less than 1/4 of the cost of level. Each player might have different approach to this.

If a player has enough time and initiative, he might opt to do speed levelling (power levelling, rushing, levelling party). The fastest way to get from lvl a to lvl b. Tried it once. Honestly, I had a small adrenaline rush seeing my Arc go 24 levels within minutes. Planning ahead to rush my Traz to around 70th. In this case it's good to have higher lvl Arc players take the p1 and p2 to reduce the cost.

also look out for big players with high level arcs
for example i have found a person who contributes with 98% on p1 and one for 95% on p2 this literally saved me thousands of forgepoints when i leveld my arc and still helps for other GBs

My Arc is level 178 now. I hope, that I can get it to level 180 in a month. Sniping and 1.9 threads are in my opinion the fastest way to get a lot of FP, but it heavily depends on activity. When your Arc is hight enough, you can make more than 100 FP on single 1.9 contribution. Only problem is that it takes forever just to get there.

Powerleveling is the best. You get 5 players with higher arcs and they pay you their full arc bonus. For the bonus you get level more easily and with less time spent overall.

I have a six persons tread, you are paired with two and put a daily amount of FP's in each other's GB, then when it is 11 FP's away from lvling, you put in the big thread where the other 5 players take in place 2, 3, 4, 5
P2: 4 FP's
P3: 3 FP's
P4: 2 FP's
P5: 1 FP
This way, you get a lot of FP's from rewards so you'd be able to put them in 1.9/other threads, hope you like it, when someone comes up with a great name for it, drop it in the reactions

The only use for swap threads are exploiting your guild mates for free levels. For example if I see a great building with a locked reward spot I swap my own great building with poor rewards, secure the position in theirs, probably profiting a bit, and getting the fp in my building on top.
The best is if you find a guild who even uses swap threads for buildings in their sweet spot. Lets say they have a 300 fp swap. You can profit hundreds from taking their sweet spot position at a very reduced price, then you still get 300 added to yours. Use external 1.9x threads to absorb any available positions in your own gb so you minimize how much are lost to the swaps. Usually this means securing p1 and p2 first and then offering p3-5 to swaps.

The difficulty with this method is knowing when to go for the swap. If you wait you may get the position for even cheaper, but it might also be sniped.

I have never read good directions are a good video on this 1.9. They either talk too fast or they think I’m not supposed to already know about it just do a step-by-step example slow please.

How about when your ARC level is way below 80? How can you level it without losing tons of FPs?

Does anyone now use any methods other than 1.9?

You are talking of all that strategies so serious so I started thinking that you are making money from this game. It is true? Is anyone buying the diamonds or something else?

I hate seeing low level GBs in the 1.x threads because it's stupid. Why prime a level 3 GB with hundreds of FPs so that you get a few dozen "free" FPs from the contributor? And doing it that way means you lose out on the chance to get rewards which you would get on the regular swap threads. I've seen lots of players struggle to get the blue prints they need because they level their GBs this stupid way. And they are always low on FPs in their inventory as well. And then when I try to point out the problem they get mad and get me kicked out of the guild.
