Most people tend to remember Mario for his football, be that in times of greatness and in times of bewildering bad professional decisions or his off pitch antics with fashion choices, fireworks and wrapping a brand new Bentley in camouflage. What people tend to forget though is that he is a generous, charitable human being. Often randomly paying for the fuel of whomever happens to be filling their car whilst he was filling his, to donating huge amounts to children's charities in Africa and making anonymous donations to multiple other good causes wherever he was residing at the time.
