My first exposure to Marianne Williamson was one of the ads she released during her 2020 run for president. It shows a group of about 20 adult males and females in their 30s and 40s standing in an awkward circle around a group of about 30 adult black males and females, almost like a serious religious event. Marianne approached the whites from off camera and instructed them to go to the blacks, get down on one knee, and ask for forgiveness for the racial sins that they and their white forefathers had committed against them. The whites looks stricken; the blacks looked amused. Marianne looked smug and satisfied. I doubt she'll replay that ad for the 2024 campaign.
