Today I'm winter stealth camping in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada. People seem to like the small town videos so I chose this one to be my first overnight stealth camping spot.
If this sounds like an exciting video you want to watch then grab something to eat, sit back, and enjoy this video!

Know you said you don't eat mayonnaise, but homemade mayonnaise and fries, pretty good.

I’m not going to read through all the comments to see if anybody else has mentioned this to you. But, if you find yourself in a situation where your tires are spinning in the snow the way they were when you just left that one restaurant in Penetanguishene, TURN OFF YOUR TRACTION CONTROL. Leaving it on when on slippery roads like that will not give you the traction you should get on your vehicle. Look it up if you need to, but that was your problem. A lot of people don’t realize that that traction control has two functions. One with it on and the other with it off.

I remember being a kid going to school when we would get feet of snow normally in a winter now if we just get some snow, it makes big news and attention and people make videos like this. It’s crazy. You’re all gonna live people. It’s all gonna be OK. Man this world has changed and makes big deals for things that never used to be sheesh lol

Little tip for winter driving, keep a big bag of kitty litter in your car. Use it if you get stuck, , it will give you traction. 💖

"let's get doing that" was my favourite line from this video 😁
Made me feel all cosy watching this from my Air conned room here in Thailand.

Actually surprised to see a video of someone doing this in the winter in Canada. Almost all the videos I've come across are in the US and always in the warmer places. Being from SK, winter is always my first thought when I think of van/car life. Obviously Ontario is different but it's still a more realistic outlook for me. I'm glad I came across this video!

Find a way to close off the cab part from sleeping area with some insulation or reflectics material. Save a lot of heat.

i
became so hungry watching and listening to your incredibly articulate ability to describe some of my favourite foods as a old canadian girl, you were close to my neck of the woods. about an hour away lol
