I love dictation But I really wish there was a setting to keep the microphone on the phone listening even when connected to a blue tooth device.
If I am connected to my car Bluetooth or a speaker across the room my Dictation becomes completely useless

Thank you for the reference. I appreciate the dictation built-in into the Apple products! It helps everyone regardless of their conditions, because when I have to prepare a long text, it is easier for me just to dictate it, and then edit it by typing.

Please answer this! How can I have a YouTube lecture dictated on a note. So if I want to have a speech from YouTube, I play it on another device and I want to have it written on my iPhone or if possible in laptop.

Why doesn’t this work on the iWatch? I use my iWatch to reply to messages all the time but I don’t see any options to change words that weren’t correct. I have to either redo the message or send a new message with the corrections

Even though the voice control feature has more commands than the standard dictation feature accessed by the microphone button to the left of the space bar, the standard dictation feature is far more accurate in my opinion. It's just a pity that the standard dictation feature doesn't have all the commands that the voice control feature has. Not to mention the voice control feature sucks the battery life.

When this feature was first introduced, it worked with voiceover. However, since an update to iOS 13, it stopped working with voiceover. I was hoping that iOS 14 would fix it, but it still doesn't work with voiceover. The problem is voiceover does not give any feedback while using voice control. I am blind but fortunately, I am able to use the various voiceover gestures. However, people who are blind and also have problems with using touch screens were very excited about this feature, because they could finally use an iPhone. However, this is now no longer the case. Also, people like myself would use voice control to operate our phones in situations where using our hands wasn't possible, such as when cooking or washing the dishes. I found voice control useful to enable me to control my phone in these situations, without getting it wet or dirty. This really needs fixing, as it will enable a lot more people to enjoy using their iphone as I do every day.
