Real ones are ALWAYS going to have a brown color in the insert portion (bottom of the cartridge).
And fake ones are ALWAYS going to have a pale green color or white.
I don’t understand how everyone misses that shit.

The bottom one had a faded Nintendo seal of quality. Which means it had more years on it. A repro looks too new

I noticed by the label and the fact that the top one’s inside is yellow. (For those who don’t know, if the inside of an n64 cartridge is yellow, it normally means it’s fake. I’ve never seen a fake one with an orange inside, since orange insides are usually found in real copies. I have a very similar smash 64 repro and I know this from a friend.)

I could tell bottom was real just by the age of it, and yellow on pikachus but reminds me of the old Pokémon cards

A way I tell is just by smelling the game. If you open a nes or whatever box and smell that distinct old women smell that’s what you’re looking for on Nintendo and Atari cartridges. Counterfits will have a metallic or plastic smell

The ESRB E shape was different, and the colors were a bit different on the front.

No no no… I felt that through my screen and it definitely had the matte finish. And my X-ray vision definitely showed me that the label on the back was legit. This is rigged.

I guessed the bottom one was real because it has the old-looking ESRB stylization.
