How do you know if your expensive video game is REAL? I came across a few missed details on a game I bought that indicated that it may be fake. In this video I'm going to investigate my N64 cartridge and determine if it's fake or real or both?

even if the label looks real. It's good to check inside before the return period passes. good video

If you have loose cartridges you tend to place them down on their back, which means the back of the cartridge is bound to get scratched and scuffed, and any stains on the surface will also mark the back.

The theory of replacing the front but leaving the back makes no sense. As the plastics wouldn't match 100% you would be able to tell just by looking at it if the plastics were from different carts.

My take on the RE2 cart is that it's a real cart with a repro label. AKA.. that cartridge got a face lift.

Thanks for good tips and points to check! About this Resident Evil 2 Mint label. Probably someone jumped to time machine and bought it and then travelled back to our time 🙂

My re2 uses a white board, when I googled it a long time ago it said this is one of only 2 games on nintedo to use a white color one but im not sure if that makes it worth more or not
