How does oxygen enter the body. The respiratory system is designed to exchange oxygen for carbon dioxide. The respiratory system is vital for the production of ATP. The mitochondria uses oxygen in order to produce ATP. In addition, it is designed to get rid of the waster product carbon dioxide.

Brilliant video. I'll be writing a song about the respiratory system (via Zoom) with 6th graders in Massachusetts this afternoon from my little studio here in Devon, UK, and this was the perfect introduction to a subject about which I knew little. There were a couple of small errors in pronunciation and spelling, and confusion between plural and singular forms of nouns, but these didn't spoil the value of the video. Thanks so much!

As an educational video, there should be no pronunciation nor spelling errors. This has both. We should be careful to teach children correctly..
