Found this out by accident today. Was going from barely able to use a driver to 210 average and crushed a 250. Just starting out so hopefully I can keep on improving!

Makes sense, and I'll def have to try it (no lessons yet personally), but I can't say I've ever seen anyone stance up that way at the tee box.

I currently tee up so ball is halfway above club, ball on inside of my front foot, and start club near the ball. Sometimes top it or get way under it (definitely still green, just taking game seriously starting this year). Consistency and progress rn is the name of the game.

True story, I spent weeks of practice to fix my iron swing and started hitting down with my driver too😂
