the 1.5kHz peak does bothers me sometimes on variations, it is cool to hear that you are collaborating to release an iem that will solve the problem on variations. I cannot wait to grab one.

Just received my PR1 PRO as first chi-fi for $40 (50% off code was given to people who'd already bought it, and it leaked.)
The bass is nice. The mids are nice, they're a bit recessed to me but just slightly. As for the treble, the timbre is somewhat a bit metallic-y, but, for $40, it's kind of a good first experience.
The cable is nicer than any other IEMs I ever had (I'm looking at you ER2XR and E3000, the two others IEMs I have).
They're fun tuned for sure, but manage to sounds good on EDM and not bad on live old concerts that HD650 manage to make good.
Also, they are quite detailed to me.
Regarding soundstage I won't comment as I have not much experience with IEMs in general, even my other IEMs do not get that much listening time.
I never review IEMs - I might be talking absolute shit. But some measurements I've seen seem to fix that treble. That plus the fact I'm finding it a bit "meh" regarding timbre, makes me think what I'm describing is quite true.

Also, bear in mind I'm reviewing it as a $40 IEM.

It's nice to know that you are also a Seiko fan. I own a Sea Urchin pepsi-bezel on a leather strap, and have been wearing it daily for the past 5 years. Btw, I wanted to ask why you don't like the Sennheiser 560S? The frequency response graph seems to be quite impressive for a neutral headphone?
BTW, will your collaboration IEM be available for sale in the Vatican City? The wait is killing me.

KZ PR1 is great IEM for it cost. They have typically planar sound with sharp and rich treble
