In NY they stock brown in the spring and I use night crawlers on a jig head or split shot rig when everyone’s throwing roster tails and I catch way more. Sometimes it’s best to show them something different.

How do we keep sunfish from eating all the worms? I constantly try the stocked lakes but use mainly worms but the all get eaten by the sunfish, and an occasional bass or perch. Never a rainbow 😭😭

id go with yellow or green powerbait, a quality inline spinner, or a kastmaster....theyve all been working well for the last 30 years.
