Thank you so much for this video! I am struggling so much in my linguistics class because it is flipped, meaning that we are expected to study the material ourselves and then go into class prepared. Now while that's great for some people, it isn't for all. I need teachers to help me but mine doesn't actually teach us anything. She asks if we understand it and then if we all say no, she'll give us a quiz. That's right! She doesn't go over the material at all! We take a quiz, or an exam, and then move onto worksheets even if she knows that we're struggling. So this is extremely helpful! Thank you!

I love the summary you've provided and would love to have my linguistics students view this for a review, but I have a Deaf student in the class. Sadly the captions are auto-generated and thus worthless to Deaf viewers, as well as second language learners trying to read English. I'd be glad to "fix" the captions and am investigating the best way to do that. Any help from your side would be appreciated.
