I just now stumbled upon Morphemes. I study Japanese and the way Kanji work is that each one is basically a Morpheme.
I always wondered what English would be like if it would completely written with Chinese characters. I think it would take all the Morphemes from English and designate a character to each one of them. I never had a good way to explain this before, this is neat.

It seems to me that morphology is much more complicated and confusing than phonology.

Better is kind of more good right? I know it's a mistake but would the word good be the morpheme behind better?
