Christy went to an early showing of TRANSFORMERS ONE and has a quick, out-of-the-theater reaction! The animated prequel tells the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, and how these former best friends became enemies. The all-star voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Keegan-Michael Key, Scarlett Johansson and Jon Hamm. We'll have a full review when the movie comes out on Sept. 20. I saw it on friday cause there was nothing else and i already forgot it, i think the Michael Bay transformers movies stick more with me more cause theyr just so insane and this one was pretty unremarkable

I saw it yesterday there are great parts, a 3rd act development I knew was coming but the way they do it was genuinely suprising. I detested the animation style, save for a SINGLE shot of sunset so much of it is visual mush. Bumblebee has a killer joke right at the end that set off the whole theater.

this is from a Pixar Storyboard artist, Josh Cooly. Inside Out, Toy Story so like, is it as good as that?
BTW, Studio Trigger did a short film for the artists from the 80s show. You should take some time out and give some bit on that too.

Solid for an animated film. I just find animated films to be much less interesting than real movies

Christy says she likes it, but I don't see the smile or giddiness that comes from "liking" something like when she talks about other movies.

Or maybe as she said, she is not the target audience?

Important questions are how this compares with current animation movies like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Puss In The Boots or Spiderverse movies?

And if she ever saw the 1986 movie with her son?
